| The Data Discovery Toolkit and Foundry NSDL Project uses Macromedia authoring capabilities built over an IDL (RSI, Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ITT Technologies) data/model access, visualization, and analysis engine. The resulting educational software products combine the rich media capabilities of Macromedia Director Shockwave (and Flash) with the research-level data and model capabilities of IDL. | ||
