April 16, 2004: Prospective Foundry Members Sign up for future work

Several new members have started the process of reusing FOUNDRY technology for their work. These new members include the Museum of Science (Boston), the Smithsonian Institute, Rice University, and the National Oceanographic Data Center (NOAA).The Foundry is looking for new partners who have data sets or models (Fortran, Basic, etc.) that can use Foundry viewer technology and code. March 9, 2004: THREDDS El Niño viewer Alpha completed

The DDTF partnering with the THREDDS NSDL project has completed the first internal release of a Macromedia Director-based data viewer that accesses a THREDDS collection through DODS. This collection covers data about the El Niño phenomenon. A public release of this product is due in July 2004.
